James Podsiadly
Introduction and early life
James Podsiadly is an Australian professional football player who currently plays for the Football Club of the Geelong cats in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was born on September 10, 1981; He currently weighs approximately 102 kg and measures approximately 1.93 Mr. it plays in the forward position and Jersey number 31. He made his debut in the AFL in 2010 after having played in the Football League in Victoria since a few years; It is finally recovered in the AFL by Geelong Cats n.m. in 2010. He was raised in Spotswood, a suburb of Melbourne.
Early career
Before he signed Essendon Football Club in 1999 when the Rookie AFL Draft, James was playing for Yarraville and Western Jets Football Club. Was the choice number 58 of this project. Later, he settled playing for Collingwood in the VFL after it was abandoned by Essendon. He played for the Essendon affiliate team and was abandoned after having played nineteen games for the club. James Podsiadly featured in the VFL during the 2003 season with the Werribee football club where he won the best and fairest award. He also won another award as the main goal kicker in 2005 beating a record of six years by a fellow teammate Nick Sautner. He participated in the training of pre-season in 2005 with the Bulldogs in the West and also in 2006 with Richmond. But all these training sessions was step transfer any contract in the AFL for James. He continued to play for Werribee until the 2008 season which saw him achieve some very important summits in his career. During this season, Podsiadly received his 100th cap for Werribbee and also won several awards as the best club and fairest. The 2008 j.j. Liston trophy goes to him.
AFL career
James played with Werribee for six seasons. He left after the sixth season to take another offer with the VFL Geelong club. His new role at Geelong came a dual role of player and fitness coach. He became the captain of the side in the 2009 season VFL. He won the Award Best and Fairest of the club this year and was also the main goal kicker with about 68 goals late in the season. He is also qualified for membership in life the VFL due to his contributions. He represented the VFL in approximately three State Games and was part of the team which won the VFL Team of the Year Award in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009.
In 2009, James Podsiadly was drafted mature Rookie in AFL Geelong Cats Football Club at the age of 28. Was the choice number fifty 50 in the 2009 rookie draft. James had his debut meet in the game against the Fremantle Football Club. This happened in the third round of the 2010 season. This season he received 13 Brownlow Medal votes in his first year of play in the AFL.
