Point of view of a Fan you have for your Football Club?

My experience with football clubs, is that they focus all their energies on football almost the complete exclusion of everything else. They sleep and dream of football and football only. Football clubs see fans as a necessary distraction and often pay lip service proceed with them.

I have a completely different view of how football clubs must be executed. In my view, that a great club should spend as much effort pushing their fan base that they pass on the side of things football. I am not the least saying that grow a fan base and then create a club. No, I say step it, have a club but spend more effort growing your fan base. The. Have to be to attract wealth for the club which allow all the rest that is in need of a club.

Fan Perspective

A fan is your outlook club fans and you have to do to get their, keep and use for the benefit of club.

Increase your fan base, you must have an own perspective of the fan and approach everything with an attitude of first rank. This means that all your programs to get and keep fans should be in place and all that you do so, should be done very well. There should be no chance for errors.

The first question, that the club must ask, is if the fans have a place in the club. If the answer is Yes, then the club needs to know where to find these fans and that those fans will be. When these questions are answered and then the club must move implement activities which engage fans, keep fans and grow the fan base.

A club to keep the fans in the loop, you have to listen to what they want and also inform them on the departures on the club constantly. When you listen to on a constant basis offer you what they want and in doing so create you a sense of community. A sense of community is more noticeable when foreign greet each other simply because they are a swimsuit of the same club. This connection and pride is what creates a soccer (football) club other than a team. Don't forget that a team is what shows people and have no connection with; on the other hand, a club is what fans are connected to.

A perspective of fan of success will draw on and off the success of land for the club. It is the cornerstone of the cultivated home sustainable success versus purchased success.

Running Back by Committee (abbr): where all the great Running Backs went?

No industry is perhaps more collect fashion. If you are more than 40 as me, you probably remember background bell, parachute or shirts pants jeans "col to" since the 1980s. In hindsight, that we all look stupid sometimes suite these trends the years and the images of those moments often provide comic relief for the next generation. Well, as fashion, the NFL is so extremely trendy and what is in vogue today is often laughed 10 years later. For example, how many teams see you playing "46" Defense Sunday or by using the tort "Run and Shoot"? Plans to evolve over time and it is easy to see that the current preference to use "formations spread" is an extension of the concepts Run and grows earlier. With these offensive changes, the 3 bottom of running back is now on the list of threatened species of EPA and became the exception rather than the rule. Is this simply the product of a change in trend in the offensive philosophy, changes in rules or something else?

There is no debate that the NFL became a passing League average preferring the game from 59% of the time term. However, it wasn't that long that the formula to win the Super Bowl was reversed? When the weather of December rolled in most countries, you had need to play defense and run the ball. If you could not do that, well while you were not going to be in a top 10 Championship shows on the ESPN Classic channel.

Given the changes in rules since ravaged Patriots the greatest show on turf in the Super Bowl helped open the passing game, but that is why the 3 on back seems to be the T - Rex?

If you asked most of the coaches, a majority agree with the assertion that you need to "play to your strengths." Since we know that the League is slinging it across the area today, are that an indictment on the current culture of "low" talent outgoing RB in college or a compliment to the quality of "high" of WR that emerging from the College of the class. As a good politician, I would say that it is a combination of both.

The formula for a game successful in the game of today is to have at least 3 running backs, or in the case of a team as the Cowboys drafting DeMarco Murray this year, you need 4 to really do the job. Apart from a few players like Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, and YMD, back most are lucky to get the 7-12 "affects" a game. Gone is the 20 ++ days are as Eric Dickerson, Walter Payton RB or, more recently, Marshall Faulk. If you spend any time looking at the NFL combine, you will realize that these players are certainly not "less talented"from a point of view pure numbers."" The size and the speed of running backs of today increases each year and their training is much more sophisticated than ever.

So if it is not the level of talent, that fueled the growth of the Running Back by Committee (abbr) approach? In a word - specialization! Don't forget that sports are a microcosm of society in law? Look at the medical profession as the best example. Specialization is full of Spades in this industry where doctors not only specialize on certain organs or systems but will even build their practice into the treatment of an aspect of a body. Companies are not very different from these days either. Gone are the days of the "generalist" of responsibilities are often separated down to the smallest detail. Running backs are also affected by this similar trend in the NFL where only being able to run the ball is not enough. Back in the day, RB with great vision was the field all the time even if he could not seek a Flash or catch a cold. Step more and not tagged today-prices-high recovered br is the commanding officer. Now different coaches and shuttle in three or four players on each piece of their team situation "specialized". There is the 3rd on back, short-yardage back, 1st and 2nd on back, blocking the rear or H-Back, and each with a different purpose. Coaches insert players with these various skills according to the bottom and the distance in an effort to "play to their strengths."

Perhaps RBs are a victim of the offence of spread in College growth and are now a little later where they do you the opportunity to hone their skills as carefully as before? This may have some merit when one considers that the old theory of the "3-year WR breakout" fantasy is all but dead with many WR hit the ground running as Mike Williams to Tampa Bay last season. RB today that oozes with the same talent you have just to make it into the field for all three downs is rare. When you find one as an Adrian Peterson or a Chris Johnson, you should hold on tight and him get your fantastic Championship, because more than ever, these players are responsible for the difference and clearly distinguish fantasy teams who have to play the game every week and hope that the coach is not a 50 ++ from game installed this week plan. We probably have acquired the level of talent of players such as Barry Sanders or Curtis Martin in the past and really should learn to appreciate this more rare skills of down each dos. Then, as parachute pants are back, perhaps we one day return to the 4 yards and a cloud of days of the dust of the NFL when RBs were the toast of the town.

Best player of all time NCAA University Football

Herschel Walker is the greatest player of all time college football. Why? Because that person has never turned a college football program as Herschel made for the Georgia Bulldogs. And he has done in just three years of college game. In that relatively little time, Walker has acquired more than any other yards player ever at the University of Georgia - or in most other colleges also.

Herschel Walker was born in Georgia, where he would then rule the world of college football, March 3, 1962. First, you would not have thought that Walker turns into an animal on the football field, because when he was young, he has not shown any desire to sport. In reality, Walker was an avid reader, and he wrote poetry much time too. However, when Herschel has 12, something to which led him to take on an incredible exercise program. Throughout the following year, Walker ran thousands of kilometres and notches up to 100,000 sit-ups and 100,000 pumps.

In 1979, years before that Walker has honored the field for the Georgia Bulldogs, he led Johnson County High School for the State Championship game, where he has been recognized by Parade magazine as the national "High School back - to - year." The University of Georgia was already followed its progress in the background, and they would reap the benefits of a National Championship, in 1980, with their number one in the first year Star Walker. Some other achievements of the College of Herschel included winning the Heisman Trophy in 1982 and three All-American Award.

Head coaching changes and teams Watch for 2011-2012 season NFL

Translate Request has too much data Parameter name: request Translate Request has too much data Parameter name: request

No less than eight teams will kickoff the 2011-2012 NFL season with a new skipper manning the sidelines. In the AFC Cleveland, Denver, Oakland, and Tennessee welcome new skippers, meanwhile, four NFC teams also roll out the red carpet for new headmen in Carolina, Dallas, Minnesota, and San Francisco.

Two of the eight new skippers (cowpoke Jason Garrett and viking Leslie Frazier) are actually interim HC hold-overs from last season when Dallas and Minnesota both fired their headmen prior to the conclusion of the regular season, however, both Garrett and Frazier still must be considered rookie NFL skippers as they are entering their first full season as the man in charge. As a matter of fact, seven of the eight new skippers for the 2011-2012 NFL are actually rookies when it comes to being the man in charge.

Denver is the only team to hire a retread this season as they brought aboard former Carolina HC John Fox to control their destiny, however, it is noteworthy that both Tennessee and Oakland promoted from within as the Raiders moved last years offensive coordinator (Hue Jackson) into their HC slot while the Titans handed the skipper reins to long time player and assistant coach Mike Munchak who has 30 years with the organization. Below is a summary of two possible surprise teams from this years crop of new HCs and what to watch for:

Cleveland: The Brownies brought in Mike Holmgren to run the show prior to the start of last season, being the nice guy the ole walrus is, he gave HC Eric Mangenius a year to prove himself. Unfortunately for Eric Mangenius his Brownie team didn't show up to play for him as they lost their final four games to close out the regular season including the 9-41 drubbing in the season finale that was administered to them by divisional rival Pittsburgh and ended up with a mark of 5-11 for the second straight season.

Needless to say and rightly so, a two year record of 10-22 got Eric Mangenius kicked to the curb. Enter new rookie skipper Pat Shurmur...shur who? Although Pat Shurmur had a decent college playing career as a center at Michigan State, his name isn't one that readily comes to mind when it comes to the NFL as he never played in the pro ranks and when it comes to NFL coaching experience tollied in virtual obscurity for nine seasons as the Eagles QB coach prior to last year when he was a one-year offensive coordinator for the Rams.

Shurmurs claim to fame during his nine year stint with Philadelphia stems from the play of former Eagle QB Donovan McNabb who led his team to five NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl appearance, couple that with the play of rookie Ram QB Sam Bradford last year in Shurmurs only season with St Louis as their OC and presto....Cleveland GM Mike Holmgren loves Shurmur, hires Shurmur, and now expects Shurmur to do the same with young Brownie QB Colt McCoy.

The Brownies major malfunction last season was their offense which finished the season ranked a terrible 29th in passing yards per game, 29th in total yards per game, and 27th in points per 100 yards gained, which of course is the reason why Cleveland finished last year ranked 31st in average points scored per game (16.94). If Shurmur can fix what ails this Brownie offense then Cleveland might just be one of the surprise teams this season as their defense really didn't play that bad last year in ranking 8th in points allowed per 100 yards, 12th in yards allowed per rush and a respectable 13th in average points allowed per game at 20.75 and especially when considering how long they were on the field due to the play of the poor Brownie offense.

There will be changes to the Cleveland defense as the Brownies elected to let defensive coordinator Rob Ryan go and brought in Dick Jauron to call the shots. Jauron, who had head coaching stints with both Chicago and Buffalo, knows how to coach defense as evidenced by the statistics that his units posted while with the Packers, Jags, and Bears in previous defensive coaching stints. Most notable of upcoming change will be the alignment the Brownie defense utilizes as they will be switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3, look for the additions of monster tackle Phil Taylor (1st round draft choice) and DE Jabaal Sheard (2nd round draft choice) up front to pay quick dividends along with the return of linebackers Scott Fujita and Chris Gocong and second year CB Joe Haden.

Offensively, new HC Pat Shurmur will be calling the plays just as his new mentor and GM Mike Holmgren did while with both Green Bay and Seattle. Change will come to the offense as well with the implementation of a short quick passing game (often referred to as the west coast offense), when it comes to divisional play this change can only help the Brownie offense against defensive stalwarts Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

Divisional rival Pittsburgh is fresh off a Super Bowl loss, if historical trends hold up this means that the Steelers should fail to make the playoffs, whether that happens or not is anyone's guess, however, this much I do know and that is the fact that Pittsburgh is getting pretty long in the tooth and especially on defense, a glance at Pittsburgh's roster from last season shows their players average age was 26.78 years old which was the second oldest in the league behind Washington.

The same can be said for Baltimore as their roster averaged 26.68 years of age which made them the fifth oldest team in the NFL. Cleveland was right up there as well with an average of 26.78 years per player which ranked them third in the league, the difference is that because the Brownies had shoddy records over the past three straight seasons (14-34) they were able to add fresh young talented blood to their lineup and dumped a lot of aging talent this season. Vegas has set the season win/loss total at 6.5 for Cleveland, I think the Brownies get at least to the .500 mark this season......OVER 6.5 Seasonal wins.

DENVER: After losing 12 of their final 14 games to close out last years campaign with a really overall shoddy mark of 4-12 the Denver Broncos decided to part ways with young HC Josh McDaniels and in turn hired ousted Carolina HC John Fox to take the reins. In the big picture who could really blame Denver for wanting to go in a different direction with a new skipper after McDaniels had actually managed to lose 22 of his last 26 games dating back to the previous season>

McDaniels, who lucked out to get the Denver job to begin with, was his own worst enemy with regard to player relations as he constantly seemed to cause turmoil and in the end the players simply quit playing for him. Then of course there was McDaniels dubious at best drafting of Tim Tebow the previous year which cost Denver in a very large way last year as it came back to bite them squarely in the ole behind with the lack of talent and depth on the defensive side of the ball.

Not judging whether Tebow will end up being a good acquisition or not, the point of the matter is that Denver needed help on the defensive side of the ball after finishing 26th in run defense prior to drafting Tebow. In the big picture Tebow has a questionable arm, questionable accuracy and will be a work in progress. McDaniels gave up way too much to get Tebow in the slot that he drafted him in when considering that he gave up Denver's 43rd, 70th, and 114th overall picks to Baltimore for the right to draft Tebow in the first round with the 25th pick. After drafting Tebow and NOT drafting for defensive help, what happened last season?

A check of the final stats from last years regular season reveals that Denvers defense finished dead last in the NFL (32nd) in total yards allowed per game (390.81), points allowed per game (29.44), only totaled 23 sacks (1.44 p/gm), the Broncos defense also finished a shoddy 31st in rush yards allowed per game (154.6) and 30th in yards allowed per pass. Is it really any wonder why Denver got rid of McDaniels? What raised some bushy eyebrows was the direction in which Denver elected to take with regard to the hiring of former Carolina Panther HC John Fox who himself was fresh off a league worst and truly dreadful 2-14 season.

In truth the Panthers fall from grace should not have been THAT big of a surprise when considering the fact that Carolina resided in the same division as New Orleans, which had won the Super Bowl the prior season, and with Atlanta, which was up and coming as evidenced by posting a mark of 20-13 over their previous two seasons.

Carolina simply got long in the tooth as evidenced by posting a mark of 35-30 in their previous four seasons and elected to go young by dumping a lot of veteran talent and bringing in a lot of new young faces. It didn't help any when the injury bug hit them early in the campaign and it most certainly didn't help them when young starting QB Matt Moore (who had played so well in winning four of five games to close out the previous season) suffered a concussion in the season opener and then proceeded to fall flat on his face by throwing four picks in two games.

Moore was benched in favor of rookie QB Jimmy Clausen who played no better, when Moore was re-inserted for week nine action against New Orleans he injured his shoulder and was done for the year. Moore and Clausen combined to tally a TD to INT ratio of 7 to 16 for the season and were the root cause for the Panther offense to rank a dead last 32nd in the league in passing yards per game, total yards per game, points per 100 yards gained, yards per pass and also ranked 31st in passer completion percentage and 30th in time of possession.

Needless to say, Carolina was done in by their shoddy QB play. John Fox shouldn't have that concern with the Broncos who have triggerman Kyle Orton under center and a fast improving Brady Quinn backing him up. Orton is the kind of QB that new HC John Fox likes with regard to his leadership and steady play, last season Orton tossed for 3653 yards with a TD to INT ratio of 20 to 9 en-route to compiling a QB rating of 87.5 and in his two seasons with Denver thus far has thrown for a total of 7455 yards with a TD to INT ratio of 41 to 21 with an average QB rating of 87.15. No Fox won't have to worry about the Denver offense, instead he can turn his attention to what he does best which is coaching defense.

John Fox has a pretty good pedigree as he got his NFL coaching start with the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 1986 as their defensive backs coach as well as their defensive coordinator, prior to taking over the helm as the skipper of the Carolina Panthers in 2002, Fox had also cut his teeth as a defensive coordinator for the Bolts, the Raiders, and the Rams. In 2002 when Fox took over the Carolina Panthers, they had finished the previous year with a record of 1-15 and oddly enough were remarkably similar to last years Denver team with regard to defense or lack thereof as evidenced by finishing the regular season ranking a shoddy 31st in the categories of rush yards allowed, total yards allowed per game and TOP (time of possession) and ranked 28th in both pass yards allowed per game and defensive sacks along with a 27th ranking in yards allowed per pass.

In his first season with Carolina Fox pushed his team to a 7-9 finish and in his second year took them to the Super Bowl. Can Fox duplicate in Denver the same kind of turn-around as he did when he first took over the Panthers? I think he can as the Broncos are a talented club offensively and defensively have added the needed pieces of the puzzle both coaching-wise and player-wise to make huge strides this season. Denver has a tougher schedule this season with games at Tennessee, Green Bay, and Minnesota along with home dates against the visiting Jets, Bears, and Patriots, however, the rest of Denver's division will play the same teams. Look for Denver to finish second in the AFC West behind San Diego and by doing so surpass the season win/loss total of 6 that Vegas has assigned them....OVER 6 Seasonal wins.

Find and destroy the special teams

I was the corner CB on my four-year college football team and can describe the experience of the attitude of reckless abandon, you must order to Excel in this position. Best average the speed and strength are the talent necessary. Be able to deal with ferocity and therefore have a direct nose for the ball should be rooted jurisdiction when you apply the honour of circuit breaker of corner. You toil in anonymity and only your teammates and coaches appreciate what you bring to the game. My job was to fly the other 9 (our kicker never addressed someone) kamikaze descendant Grill speed, devastate every man in your path to achieve the honour of separating the ball carrier and pork, or bury him in the grass.

I will never forget the opening kick off my year freshman when our kickers cleat met with pork and I down is entered directly to the Prism both praised the University of Missouri at Rolla. Our coach had me completely to be psyched to find and destroy their huge blockers phalanx after our team as to how devastating would come to us in the hope of sees their human of pay-dirt on drilling. I saw them as green thrown in my fury bubbling blades forming metal spikes. The Sun was blind my eyes wide off their helmets or glass and I could feel the break of fresh grass that I threw my body of speeding perfectly set training. I caught them in the mid height body, while I twisted my physics elongated to promote the most damage. The front three spans me after my vicious assault, and two more struck the grass, as my momentum propelled me forward. One of these players has caused more than two of his teammates from the well-maintained grass and I managed to get a hand on the foot of the ball carrier before that one of my companions freed him slammed face on the 12 yard line. The stars I saw helmets, pads, arms and knees enclosing and deletion of my body rapidly decreased, as the official denounced her to stop playing and mark the line of scrimmage.

A back-up team punting my road to the receptor is direct, but I was forced to navigate through the blockers to attack my prey. More attention must be paid to the opposition, blocking the punt until I can go out to find and destroy. On bins, you are subject to cut blocks of return more frequently than all by attacking a Prism, so you must keep your wits about you when infernal to attack the ball carrier. A thing that I can assure my readers, is that special teams is not for the weak of heart and those who refrain from heavy contact, but will those that venture, a finding of guilt, never be afraid to meet a challenge head. For this author, there is nothing to do with the challenge that this exciting position!

Philadelphia has long been a do-or-die sports town. Yet, somehow, both the Eagles and Phillies managed to raise the stakes. Will a sports town's ultimate doomsday be avoided?

In case you have no clue what I'm referring to, let's revisit key acquisitions made by both teams in recent months.

After being eliminated by the San Francisco Giants in last year's NLCS, Phillies GM, Ruben Amaro Jr., pushed his chips to the middle of the table, shocking the baseball world and signing the most sought after free agent, Cliff Lee. The addition itself was a huge move. Adding Lee to a rotation of Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels, and Roy Oswalt, however, was even bigger.

Fast forward to the July 2011 trade deadline. In desperate need of a right-handed bat, Amaro again stepped up, selling the farm (literally) to bring in coveted outfielder Hunter Pence from the Houston Astros. The message was clear: The 2011 season would bring home a World Series title or, you guessed it, bust.

The Eagles found themselves in a similar, albeit significantly more frustrating, position. Throughout the Andy Reid era, the Eagles have almost always been contenders. On the other hand, they've reached the Super Bowl only once. (It's also no secret fans in the city have abandoned the Eagles in droves in favor of the title-winning, fan friendly, Phillies.) After the Eagles came unglued down the stretch and failed to win a playoff game following the 2009 and 2010 seasons, management doubled down heading into 2011.

First, the Eagles traded backup quarterback Kevin Kolb for Pro Bowl cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a 2nd round draft pick. Then, they brought in the best defensive end available in Jason Babin. After that, the Eagles won the services of the most prized free agent, Nnamdi Asomugha. It didn't stop there. The organization continued adding to its arsenal by bringing in Cullen Jenkins, Vince Young, and receiver Steve Smith from NFC East rival, New York Giants.

Normally a conservative, "build from within" franchise, the Eagles are making a run at the Super Bowl title that has eluded the Andy Reid regime for the better part of a decade. However, unlike the Phillies, the Eagles have exhausted their fans' patience. The city wants a parade or a new coach. While a Super Bowl appearance may save Reid's job, only a championship will finally ease the natives.

Here's where the story gets ugly. Despite major additions, and in the Phillies' case, a successful regular season, both teams are hardly a lock to reach their respective championship round, let alone bring home a title.

Yes, the Phillies have been unstoppable nearly all season. They're running away with the NL East. (The Mets are so far back; they can't even read the Phillies' record.) The rotation, despite injuries, has lived up to expectations and carried the team through its all-too-frequent hitting slumps. Still, there's something missing.

While strong all season, the bullpen has begun to show signs of fatigue and/or weakness. Brad Lidge still has not regained form and probably won't in 2011. Ryan Madson, while adequate as a closer, hasn't faced closing in an atmosphere as tense as the NLCS or World Series. Plus, closing is on an entirely different level from being the setup man. On top of the bullpen worries are the mounting injuries. Cole Hamels' shoulder. Jimmy Rollins' nagging leg injuries. The day-to-day status of Placido Polanco's back.

However, none of these issues are my chief concern. Hitting is. Let's not forget why the Phillies were humiliated by the Giants last fall; they couldn't hit. To win in October, you need two things and only two things. 1. Great pitching. 2. Timely hitting. Obviously, the Phillies can already put a big, whopping check mark next to "Great pitching." Timely hitting? Not even close.

Whether or not the Giants even reach the postseason remains uncertain. However, this much we know: The Phillies can't hit the top of San Francisco's rotation. Fans can point to winning three of four in San Fran in August all they want. I'm not sold. Besides, only one of those wins came against Matt Cain or Tim Lincecum. In that victory, the Phillies mustered two early runs against Cain, one as the result of an error. After the first inning, Cain settled in, and that was it. In four combined outings against Lincecum and Cain (29 innings) this season, the Phillies squeezed out 17 hits, 4 runs (only 2 were earned), and went 1-3. To make matters worse, Philadelphia has yet to face the Giants' third best starter, surprise sensation Ryan Vogelsong (10-4, 2.54 ERA).

To be fair, the Giants can't hit worth a lick this year, so it's not as if they're going to punish Philadelphia for missing opportunities. So, let's say the Phillies win the National League. It's true; no American League team has the same rotation depth as the Phillies or Giants. Instead of pitching, though, the Yankees, Red Sox, and Rangers boast offense, and lots of it. Does great pitching typically trump great hitting? Absolutely. But you can't expect Halladay, Lee, and Hamels to limit Boston, New York, or Texas to less than 3 runs on a nightly basis. (Notice I said expect. Is it possible? Of course, but hardly realistic.) At some point, Chase Utley, Ryan Howard and the rest of the offense need to step up. Considering the flashy names on the roster, it's not necessarily a good thing that Shane Victorino has been the Phillies' most consistent and reliable offensive player the past two seasons. Pitching and Victorino alone won't bring another parade down Broad Street.

If the Phillies (by far the best team in the National League) aren't a sure thing, I'm not sure what to call the Eagles. While the media and fans continue to play up the "Dream Team" angle, pessimists like myself just stare blankly at a roster with obvious flaws.

For example, when have the Eagles EVER properly estimated their linebacking core under Andy Reid? Do names like Ernie Sims, Mark Simoneau, and Levon Kirkland ring a bell? Hearing the Eagles claim they're confident with their linebackers is as comforting as President Obama telling me universal healthcare is a good idea.

How about the offensive line? This just in: Quarterbacks, even Michael Vick, need time to be successful. We're two weeks from kickoff and the starting left guard just got moved to right tackle. To make matters worse, the entire line is learning a new system under a new offensive line coach and possibly starting two rookies on top of that.

Also, when was last time an Eagle defense was able to get off the field in a critical moment late in the game? Or better yet, when did the defense last pressure a quarterback into countless mistakes in December or January? Unfortunately, the Hugh Douglas era is the correct answer. Juan Castillo has his work cut out.

Then there's Michael Vick himself. I think I'm alone on this, but I'm not totally convinced he can be the pocket passer that Reid (and even Vick himself) wants him to be. Scrambling quarterbacks are exciting. They may even carry you to the playoffs. But quarterbacks who hang in the pocket and beat defenses with their arms win Super Bowls. If Vick doesn't improve and develop as an accurate quarterback who can make all the necessary throws (a-la Rodgers or Brady), the Eagles are a 10-6 or 11-5 team waiting to be bounced in the Wildcard round for the third year in a row.

In case it's not obvious, decades of Philadelphia sports failures have forced me to expect whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. The Phillies and Eagles made moves that appear to put their respective teams in better position to win a championship. While I would obviously be overjoyed at either (or both) winning a title, the reality of the situation is difficult to ignore. After all, how often to the heavy favorites go wire-to-wire and bring home the hardware?...That's what I thought.

6 Critical keys to the pre-season NFL 2011

We avoided the lockout, so is NFL Football again! The pre-season is to us now and many bettors jumping opportunities of gold given to them because they would rather sit and watch.

The pre-season is not always an overview in the real season. It should be treated differently and as its own entity. It can be easily for you money if play you seriously with all its boards and uniqueness.

Here are my 6 keys successful pre-season NFL betting.

(1) Have several books. There are significant differences in the many books available for you, especially in the pre-season. Take advantage of this - do not become a victim of it! Always look for the best possible line (you must do this for all seasons and all sports). In addition, books that you have, the more opportunities you will find, with more chances to win. A single point or half a percentage point can and makes the difference between winning and losing.

(2) Leave your heart in it. Losers of good opportunities become too because we like a certain team, player, coach of the team color, mascot, pom - pom girl - you name! Focus on the game and the factors of win/lose. Play the game with your brain!

(3) May not be a bettor kinda "gotta-have-action". A lesson learned to disability should apply here: you do not have to play every game. Do not play because it's your favorite team... did not play because it is the only game in a specific time-period, or section of the country, or Division, or television on Monday night etc.

(4) Use your head when it comes to public teams. You might make good money betting against a very popular team as the Cowboys, Packers or Raiders - all of which have a large fan base. Play your spots carefully and look at opportunities because the oddsmakers are brilliant at what they do.

(5) Study of coaches. All as trainers in racehorses, a coach could be watching the pre-season as a phase of preparation, physical training only and not are not interested in the results of Win/loss. Perhaps they simply want to protect their players key to an injury. They may protect their creators. Learn or not, they play their starters and how long they like to keep them in the game.

(6) Examine the Quarterbacks. Learn the rotations for teams. The star begins? It will remain in the game? When the chain of 2nd or 3rd QB? Keep in mind that some teams 2nd string of the QB can be better than some of the other teams starters.

Who will be the player of the year in 2011 NFL Offensive?

The usual suspects would be Tom Brady of New England Patriots and Peyton Manning, and Indianapolis Colts. Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints is up there and on a mission. Look for the Falcons to go to 12-4 this year with Matt Ryan is high in the Brady/Manning dynasty.

In terms of other QB Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers will be put up huge numbers, and Sam Bradford the Rams St. Louis will avoid sophomore jinks. Colt McCoy of Browns in Cleveland will surprise everyone with its efficiency and the pass mark, but the team would have to go 12 - 4 for him to get the attention. Then, do not seek these QB to be in competition for the player of the year, this year of the NFL.

Running back Adrian Peterson Minnesota Vikings as a a chance, but only if its QB and WR is good enough to leave the defences to do something else that focus on him. Look Donavan McNabb to be scaring the defences in the North of the NFC this year, therefore while Peterson will get many numbers because it will be the offensive weapon, it Won't get enough to separate from him like a giant offensive in 2011. Of course, put Adrian Peterson behind Tom Brady and Peterson would be easy to win everything.

In addition, it is difficult for running backs win the award due to the running back by Committee philosophy now widespread in the League. A running back rarely manages most of the efforts, and therefore, no dominant numbers. They are essential to the success of the team - they are simply not in the way in which Walter Peyton nothing there in the past.

What receptors of the scale? As the flowers in the folk song of the 1960s, we wonder where they went. Andre Johnson of Houston Texans is the only one that you could say is better than everyone in the League, but how much? It is no longer a Chad Johnson changes 85, which was significantly higher, or a Terrell Owens. Remember T.O.? It was once famous for being famous. How our memories of the short....

Today, we like the receptors as Wes Welker of the New England Patriots. Not the 50 yards down the guys in the margin, but the 7 on 3 and 6 yards. But while these guys have many catches and some decent yards, they would separate themselves sufficiently to justify pack winning the offensive player of the year.

NCAA Division 1 FBS Football - which is the next to go?

In recent years, a number of schools have explored moving to Division I's Football Championship Subdivision (formerly-AA) to the Division I Bowl Subdivision. The team the latest to make the move was the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers in 2009. There are four teams over planned to move in 2012-2013, however. This is a University of South Alabama Jaguars, University of Massachusetts "UMass" Minutemen and Texas State University - San Marcos Bobcats. A fourth program, the University of Texas - San Antonio Roadrunners, is a startup without any FCS history that goes directly to the FBS.

There are a number of candidates of moving-up of FSC to BF. Whether that will be the next climb requires a thorough review of the college football landscape. There is an arms race going on between the programs of college major of football which led to the expansion of the Conference in the major conferences such as the Big Ten and PAC-12 but also huge TV rights deals with conferences and academic individual networks such as the network of Longhorn and BYUtv. Budgets have soared and he became more and more expensive to build and operate top notch facilities and provide the best tools for 85 scholarship to compete at the highest level football players.

Although less prestigious conferences such as the West of the mountain, Mid American Conference and Conference USA found it more difficult to follow financially with the big boys, they will benefit likely in that the University football is so popular right now that the major television networks such as ESPN and Fox is looking for any type of programming of college football they can obtain, and these conferences are able to provide the networks with a reasonable return on the investment of smaller. Schools like the University of Montana are probably watching these TV deals and thinking, while we love the format of the FCS playoffs, could potentially benefit us from the money and exposure of TV that come with playing in a mid-major FBS Conference?

Villanova is actively considering to move from the FCS to FBS. Already be a member of the Big East Conference for all other sports, they would be in the enviable position of being a member of a Conference of automatic qualifier (AQ) immediately. Also the Grizzlies of the above mentioned University of Montana, other schools that were most frequently mentioned include the Montana State University Bobcats, Lamar University Cardinal, University of California - Davis Aggies, Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks, Cal Poly Mustangs of San Luis Obispo, and Appalachian State mountaineers. All of these schools, except the State of the Appalachians, are likely candidates for the Western Athletic Conference (WAC), which has been decimated by defections of Boise State University, University of Hawaii - Manoa, California State University - Fresno and the University of Nevada - Reno. Appalachian State could be a strong candidate for the Sun Belt or perhaps even the Conference USA. Another program to keep your eye on is the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. They are from a program of FSC in 2013 and could be a program to get faster.

What to do with Zombies and are able to to do with the big game?

A football coach former high school I would often see the other teams in our division doing what appeared to be 60 to 90 minutes to warm up the engine prior to the big game. If they abuse it during the game such as this, can you even imagine how much they are in the field of practice training?

What I found is that when my clients are a dynamic warm-up shorter they can usually perform more and more difficult than those that prolonged exercise. Traditional stretching to relax and fatigue of the muscles instead of Energizer to perform exercises of high intensity performance/power. "It's a great way to get injured," explains Mike Huff, founder of the program Performance of Duke Sports, a service of "K - Lab" - the laboratory of Human Performance of Michael Krzyzewski in the Centre of sports medicine of Duke.

Woody Harrelson, stated in the film from Zombieland "you never see a lion limber before the need to lower a gazelle". This is perhaps not the best reference, but it is a good point. The U.S. Navy, said to 5 to 10 minutes from during approximately 60 seconds each before begin the formation of circuit running in place, then 4 different dynamic exercises.

What we do is a combination of military, speed and agility and to warm up the engine MMA which last 8-10 minutes. We use it in our training camps and our one-on-one personal training.

That said, I will answer some common questions on stretching and warm-up.

You can request that should I do if I am an athlete of explosive performance? You must basically do dynamic the following but add 2-4 other short sets with an average amount of resistance to muscles that are necessary for the activity. For example, if you are in the army and you made a push up test: add 2 sets of more than 10 push type exercises to warm up, and 2 short sets warms the opposing muscle group as well. Once again these do not need much resistance. Just isometric contractions will work to get heated if no hardware is available.

Others may ask what to do if they are endurance athletes? Essentially, endurance athletes expected warm-up as the average Joe. What I found, is that endurance athletes are more unbalanced population group. They can run, ride or swim in Egypt but could not touch their toes or shoulder press 15 lbs dumbbells. They seek simply get injured. If they do you balance they will develop arthritis and prevent them from running, horseback riding, or swim together. That a good resistance per week training session can work wonders. Stretch 2 - 3 times per week during their flexor of the hip, hamstring and traps for this groups is also a must. Doing an of my training clients to better personal at the Tampa Marathon in 2009 and won!

You can ask what this means for the average "Joe" or "Jill" that works in their free time? Here is a version of my dynamic warm-up that should work for 80% of the population:

Perform these 40-45 seconds each.
-Arm circles
-Bear Hugs, then shake the world
-Key toe
-Alternative knees elbows
-Squats
-10 Bar / wall / or Push Ups to knees
-Jumping Jacks
-Press Squat medicine Ball
-Seal Jacks
-Step back (reverse before)
-Bicycle Kicks
-Toe Grabs
-Knee Hugs

Remarks of John Heisman

As coach, he would later play a major role in innovation and advance the game of football and its rules, but his time as a player was cut short after nearly being struck by lightning, which damaged his view. In 1982, he is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and obtained his law degree after his final exams orally. Straight out of the University, he began his career as coach at Oberlin College, which the football team has only one year when he came on board. Under his leadership this year, the team won all seven of its games, lay the foundations for the legendary reputation of the Heisman as a coach. Among its phenomenal achievements, during his reign as coach of football for Georgia Tech from 1904 to 1919, he leads the team with an impressive wins three in a row. For the moment in the history of the trophy, all schools where John Heisman served as coach, only University of Auburn has been the players receive the Heisman Trophy: Pat Sullivan in 1971 and Bo Jackson in 1985. Protection vertical set Pass

Recently, we have modified the set vertical for the protection of our passage, after having had some terrible protection from the previous season. While the jury is still out on the question of whether our protection will be less porous this year, I think that we have solved many problems.

The vertical Set is not natural for the offensive linemen, but still nothing does that is the offensive line is natural. Our guys have had to adapt to the it slowly. I think that we are still more slow get in return that we have the potential to be, but the advantage of having 4 bombers returning veteran makes it easier survive the transition.

Teach all Vertical

We began working on the Vertical set during the school year, last year. We have put on the air, but I wish that we had done more. One thing that I realized that working these steps is more important than actually of blocking.

In the vertical game, our linemen are driving off the coast of their inside foot first, for the four stages. This puts their fourth step as the foot outside, called the "anchor step". Anchor stage must be hard and firm in the soil. Foot should be enabled for all 7 stops may be in the ground here.

We want to be in a straight line through on the fourth game. Some players need to take shorter steps, some must take more or less steps to get to the stage in a straight line anchor. The back will fit into the protection here as well.

The work of the 5 Offensive linemen is to block 4 bugs and a Mike Linebacker on each piece. Our Centre of codes of users the front and the Mike Linebacker that he will handle. The back is responsible for the first linebacker on the appeal.

Wardens manage # 2 to the position of defender of their side, while the defender of handle # 3 tackles on their side. (The Mike Backer or funders are regarded as # 1). As they will be set vertical, twists or blitzes declare themselves.

Vertical all gives our players time to untangle the games of the defence and hang.

Problems of vertical game

The first problem we had with the vertical set was some hip tight on our linemen. It is a time difficult to fall if their hips are too tight. This is where I wish we had more than representatives, just definition.

The following issue has been the result of creating a space so. Sometimes, our guys set and long before that the DL actually get them they will be stretched forward to satisfy the defenders, rather than the foot of their anchor and absorbing the coup.

We wish to emphasize that our players simply need to their guy mirror and create an impasse. In a worst case, our player can get crushed and sunk into the Quarterback, but he should never be struck on the one hand our the other. We work many mirror exercises and exercises emphasise this traction and thrust.

Set Vertical was a pleasant surprise for the moment, as our protection seems to be improved in make it early. I will keep you updated!

League 1 betting advice: Paris St-Germain hot favourite for the title

The new sports director Leonardo not was given too much time to get his feet under the table to Paris St-Germain. The capital club have added five new players to their team in just one week for a total cost of £ 30 million.

New additions are centre of Valenciennes back Milan Bisevac, Roma playmaker midfielder Jeremy Menez and St - Etienne Blaise Matuidi all arrived Monday and were followed by the goalkeeper of Palermo Salvatore Sirigu and Juventus spoiler Momo Sissoko.

He has been a dramatic rise that was made possible by the new owners of the Middle East: since the Qatar Investment Authority seized a majority interest in the side two months ago, Paris St-Germain became the favorite spouse with 2009-10 champions Marseille in Ligue 1 contributes market bet. The chances are currently as low as 3.50.

Remarkably, Paris Saint-Germain have claimed the title twice in their history and the last time was in 1993-94. They were something like a giant sleep in recent years, difficult their frenzied activity of pre-season showed their desperation to get rid of this tag as quickly as possible.

Major disruption such as this rarely provide an immediate success in football, where usually a transient campaign is generally required before a serious challenge can be mounted. However, they are already on the upward curve after that they have only finished fourth in the last campaign. It was already the best performance in seven last season: the gap between the best and the rest in France is much easier to bridge in several other top leagues as proven by Lille from the fourth to the first to the last period.

Ratings have been slashed after the summer transfer window: those who have been on board earlier were behind the triumph of the Paris Saint-Germain in 2011/12 season of Ligue 1 to 10, while now the current price is 3.50. It will be a much more interesting season.

What Football from A young Player should expect from his coaches

That must wait for its youth football coaches youth football player? It is an interesting question, but one that we should probably all ask as prepare us for next season youth football coaches. Here are my top 10:

Why the SEC Football teams dominate College Football

During the era BCS, SEC football teams were 104 Bowls. This is equivalent to an average of 8 teams per year will Bowls. More impressive that they have been to the big 5 (sugar, Rose, Fiesta, Orange and Championship National) 21 times, or on average they which is rather good, whereas the first BCS National Championship game was not played until January 2007). Their winning percentage is 76% in large bowls.

This means that they earn 4 of 5 games played in the five major Bowl games. If it is not the domination by the SEC football teams, I don't know what.

The main reason that the SEC football is so dominant is because as it is in the deep South which is home to University football. The population of these States is fanatical about their teams. The Conference of the SEC is bordered by the States of Texas, Florida, the Georgia, and Louisiana. With California, these States produce top high school football players in the nation. Especially when it comes to speed.

For me, it's the biggest difference between the dry and most other conferences - overall speed of the team. It becomes very clear when a team from the SEC plays a team from the midwest or North. Not only the wide receivers and back defensive but the defensive line and linebackers of the teams in the SEC to have normally high speed.

Perhaps it is also because of the great College football stadiums and fanatical followers, the best players in the country want to play in the sec. Nothing like playing to sold out crowds every week.

In the SEC East, most of the teams recruit Atlanta, Tampa, Miami and Jacksonville. In the West of the SEC, they recruit Dallas, with all of Texas and Louisiana. These cities and States just by pure number of high school athletes give SEC a huge advantage. ACC also draws players from these cities and States but not nearly as 4 and 5 star recruits like the sec.

Another advantage for SEC football teams is their coaches. There are great coaches throughout the country, but many of your best coaches wants to coach in the SEC because they know the support huge fan for their team, support schools give enormous wages coaches and teams in the SEC get. Obviously incredible pressure to win just to fans and the administration of the school is part of the work.

Players want to get drafted high and the and the SEC leads in this category with the most players drafted in the first round of the project and most of the total players drafted.

In the whole football SEC prepares the best players in the NFL, players get to play with fanatical huge crowds each week and they can expect almost all their academic career games being played on television due to SEC contracts with national networks. This helps the SEC schools with recruitment because players know that their family will be able to watch television, if they are unable to participate in games.

Without Vick Will the season Eagles remain flightless?

It is highly likely that as soon as the lockout is lifted, (if it is thrown) a gesture may be imminent for Kevin Kolb eagles on the free agency market.

Kolb has already made it clear he wants to be a starter in the NFL and judging by Vick phenomenal season in 2010, it seems likely he will present in the Eagles soon plans.

Kolb has already been linked with several teams desperately need a QB, the latest being the Cleveland Browns. This movement seems unrealistic considering the Browns already have Colt McCoy in his second season with the offence and the last thing that Kolb is in need is a struggle for the position of starting with a player he may be not able to better.

I am afraid that any ends Kolb he could leave the Eagles very bare in the quarterback of the Research Department.

From quarterback Michael Vick returns to NFL season last with insistence, clutch touchdowns and downs key production when required. Many question if he can produce the performance of same is however for the next season of 2011.

In 2002, Vick started every game with the Falcons for the first time. He threw for a little less than 3 000 yards, 16 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. This season proved to be the most impressive and he never improved this performance during his time with the Falcons. Interceptions and escaped becomes more obvious, and its rating quaterback fell. So will we see a similar result to the Eagles?

It is true that Vick had more positive season at the date of the last season with the Eagles, displaying his first quarterback average rating over 100, but it this product because he had a point to prove?

Defenses will be more tired of its capabilities and the following season. The Eagles have thrived on their big-game changing capabilities in 2010, which I doubt will thus accessible again.

Vick showed his toughness and his ability to do work when required, but his physical and stubborn yards obtaining method he could see trouble. It was clear that it was a huge target for the many moving from researchers and with Kolb of the image and sick Vick, it begs the question whether if the Eagles to the playoffs hopes will greatly decrease in this scenario.

Currently, without Kolb or Vick, the responsibility of the Directorate may fall to Mike Kafka. Kafka, 23, was the fifth QB selected in the draft 2010 behind Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, Jimmy Clausen and Colt McCoy. It is capable of running as Vick, fast, but it still has much to learn.

Kafka is still featured in his first game of the NFL, having played in only four 2010 pre-season matches. In these four games Kafka launched three peaks and a touchdown, but on a very valuable experience for the young.

Kafka is still obviously weaknesses currently in its strength and precision; He will be able to cope with the pressure in the case of injury of Vick, either Andy Reid will be prepared pick up a replacement in free agency?

Why the NFL would like survival Sunday!

This article examines the contrast between the English Premier League and the NFL and examines why the NFL would like to have days like 'Survival Sunday', but will never be...

I like soccer. I hate being called "football". Which is considered as the pure Americanism, but in the defence of this, the Americans got it at the origin of a Word, it is not much to me.

I also like the NFL. The two games are very different, both in structure and the appeal, and in this article, I would like to consider a difference that was driven home on Sunday, May 22, 2011 in the Premier League English. I will say that you read on, that I will use "football" and "NFL" to set the two sports. OK, ready? Here we go...

May 22, 2011 has been dubbed 'Survival Sunday' in the English Premier League. Each season, 3 of 20 teams are relegated into lower division. Which is based on the end table after each team played the other two times.

The last day of the season 2010/11, a team was already relegated, but none of the other 5 teams might have finished another down 2 places. It all depends on the results of the games of the last day.

Relegation from the Premier League is a disaster for any club. Not only do lose about 70 million in TV money, but they lose their top quality players to play in the first division.

These two factors are enough to pass back the hard League, although it is possible to obtain right promoted from backup again next season.

"Survival Sunday" was superb. Goals flew in full the relevant games and the 2 remaining relegation slots changed repeatedly between the teams.

Fans went to the exaltation of despair and vice versa. It could hardly be any better example of why so many people love sport - it connects real life and emotions.

Quite simply, the NFL does not offer the same scenario. There was no League structure whose entire team can get down/promoted. Each team is a franchise of the central business, you cannot just start own team and work your way up.

Several teams have been relegated to the football. The fragile financial balance of many clubs can crush with alarming speed, and names seem to be a fixture in the top flight can find themselves password trap and division.

Can you imagine the Dallas Cowboys, the so-called "America's team", being relegated to a lower level? No, and this is what prevents the development of real roots of the NFL outside the United States.

The NFL, the National Football League, were implemented as enterprise, structured (in the same way as the game itself) to contain the sports show as a package. It also works, and I like the combination of tactics and athletics.

The play-off system gives an element of knockout sudden death in the season, but if a team loses, they know that they have next season to try again.

Not so first League, where failure will send you top flight for an entire season at least. Who knows, perhaps a relegated team * never * again be in the first division.

This is what is missing from the NFL. I like to watch the excitement of the first day of the season NFL playoffs and the Superbowl, but I think that it will be always jealous of survival Sunday', and this is a map that the Premier League can still use an asset.
